On August 1st 2013 Ian, Martin and Richard went along to Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes with a cheque for the sum of £500, where we were greeted by Ana Hadley, Dulcie Stewart, Allison Waterhouse and Lynn O’Gorman. As the weather was beautiful, the hottest day of the year, we all trooped into the gardens where Andy Powell (a fellow Concrete Cowboy with Richard) took pictures of the event. Willen provided the oversized ‘cheque’!
None of us can quite believe that it's now almost exactly 5 years since we said goodbye to our friend Dave Gillbe at that very place.
We have received the following letter and ‘Certificate’ from Willen, which are much appreciated.
